Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our consultation request form we collect your name, organization, email address, phone number, the service area you select, and the contents of your message. We collect this because we cannot respond to an enquiry without it.
If you email or call us directly, we retain that correspondence for the same reason.
Information collected automatically
Our web host records standard server logs including IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use analytics software to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually.
Cookies
The site uses cookies for basic functionality and for analytics. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work, though some conveniences may not. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Confidentiality of client information
Our work frequently involves sensitive information — facility layouts, security assessments, vulnerability findings, vendor contracts, and pricing. We treat all such information as confidential. We do not publish client names or identifying details without written permission, and we will sign your non-disclosure agreement before substantive discussions if you prefer. Case studies on this site are anonymized.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business, and only to the extent they need it: our web host, our email provider, our analytics provider, and our accounting and legal advisors. Each is bound by confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or lawful government request, or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
How long we keep it
Consultation enquiries are retained for up to three years so we can maintain continuity if you return to us. Records relating to engagements are retained for seven years to meet tax and professional obligations. Server logs and analytics data are retained on shorter cycles set by those providers. You may ask us to delete your information sooner.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We restrict access to enquiry data to personnel who need it, keep software current, and use reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — but as a firm that advises on security, we hold ourselves to the standards we recommend.
Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@ivetstrategies.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you rights to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
If you contact us from outside the United States, note that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy law differs from your own.
Children
This site is directed at businesses and public sector organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We will post any revisions here and update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we handle enquiry data will be noted prominently.
